UTTC Twilight #1 (05/27/2025)

1st Jump - 6.46m

2nd Jump - 6.52m

A new track unlocked. It has been a year since the last time I competed in Toronto. However this meet didn't go well because of knee pain.

After consistently hitting that 7m mark for 3 meets, I finally encountered a humbling moment. I jumped 6.46 and 6.52 then stopped as my knee hurts. The reason is obvious, intensive driving and poor recovery.

This is a wake up call to me. I indulged myself too much after the semester ended. Although I do think I don’t have to pull the strings too tight at this moment, it doesn’t mean I can completely let loose. Rather than brainlessly competing, I will train through this 2 weeks, and am ready to go hard for June and July!
